My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Twinkles, my dwarf Meyer lemon that I have in a big pot is the same.  There seems to have been no new leaf growth and it's looking a bit dowdy and yet it has quite a lot of lemons forming.  Not sure what to do.  I've fed it with citrus food and giving it a good drink now and then but it looks ordinary.

I've googled heaps about slight curling leaves but it doesn't seem to have pests.  Some say it's not enough water and some say too much water so it's a dilemma. It's a very young tree and this is it's 1st spring with me.

Re: My day

My day:

I went to pick my grand daughter up from pre-kindy and take her to child care.  She said Nana, "I don't want to go to child care, I want to go to work with you"  I told her she could come there after her mum picks her up and that I would have a sparkly skirt for her to try and to give me her opinion of.  She said "I can't give you my opinion because mum has it and I can't get it back off her"

Re: My day

Az, your 400 houses made me laugh. Looks like I'm the last one up. I had a dreadful time trying to get to sleep last night and was still awake at 3.30. I;m in a hypomanic state so my brain was racing. The good thing is that I do get a lot more done whilst in that phase, The challenge is to not allow myself to get too "high" because what goes up must come down and what goes down must come up.

The ex is expected here tomorrow with the police to collect more of his belongings. He has dragged this out for about 4 and a half months so far. This has had a detrimental effect on my mental health and anytime that there is contact with him in anyway, my moods get thrown out of whack. The next Court date will hopefully bring this to a end.

Happy anniversary, Sandy. 47 years is a long time to be married, Will you be going out to dinner to celebrate?

There is nearly always a long wait to see my gp. It usually takes a couple of weeks to get an appointment and it is common for him to be running anything from 30 minutes to an hour late. He's worth the wait, though.

Re: My day

Back from my good deed for the day..

Picked up a rescue dog from the vets and drove him a fair way north to his new foster home.

A beautiful Bull terrier cross who was going to be pts at the local pound until a local rescue went into bat for him (and another Bully cross boy)

He was sooo friendly with people, but had obviously had NO training!  Why on earth people get dogs and then just leave them to their own devices  I dont know .....

.... but then, there are a lot doing that with their children nowadays too  Smiley Sad .....
