After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I think I may have done the wrong thing by the roses. I've cut them back far too roughly I suspect and literally accidently murdered them ... 
... am willing to start again though.

Dawau, hope you will join in when you can. From what I can see, everyone is welcome here; in my opinion, it's the nicest and friendliest thread I've ever joined in with. I post to anyone who posts to me, its a great way to communicate. Someone doesn't want to post to me, doesn't matter, it's a big forum, plenty of others xxx
Oh they are lovely Bushies, do they have a special name? Can I ask if they have thorns and do they grow like a bush close to the ground or up on a bigger stalk/trunk?
