After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Morning Sandy.....you only just beat me....I diverted to another thread before coming here.
It looks like an "air conditioner" day coming up here.....the sun has a bite in it already and I don't do heat very well.

Morning Sandy I missed you,
When my Mum moved into the Nursing Home Telstra tried the reconnection fee on her as well even though the line was already there. I called them and discussed the issue with them and they wiped it from her account. So, I would call them when you get the recorded message ask for 'complaints'.

Morning Lyndal, you sound like me I hate the heat.

Good morning. The kettle is on again here. Woke at 2.30 from the humidity prior to a little bit of spitting rain.
Poked my nose in here but there were snores, groans, talking-in-sleep (won't tell anyone, Freddie - promise) and strange sleeping positions observed, so backed out everso quietly and ventured around the traps.
Went back to bed for a nap at about 6.00.
I've finally given up on baking Richo's cake it just would not rise. (Sandy came to the rescue, woohoo).
Let me tell you all, I am enjoying this daily "get-together". I like the prodding and poking around of ideas and wonderful photos. A little too motivational sometimes when the lack of sufficient funds or mature body can't do what I want. Drat.

DEB had I known you were up at 2.30a.m. we could have had a coffee and a chat instead I was tossing and turning and walking around unable to sleep as well. My waking time is usually a little later but not last night.
I'm currently searching for a nice white or chrome/silver pot plant holder for a nice succulent to go on my vanity along with my Lene Bjerre soap pump. I have found a couple just need to compare prices.
Reno is underway again this morning.

Good morning 🙂 *** hands Miss Freddie a late note ***
DEB I get morning like that at time as well .... Can relate to the lack of funds at times when it has to be a piece of timber/can of paint that is purchased instead of a lovely plant 😞
Freddie How is all going? Are you managing to stay "sane" through it all lol
Sandy I had a huge Cecile Brunner at my old house, broke my heart to leave it behind 😞
Fiesta TY so much for you lovely comment re my garden, it was much appreciated 🙂

morning everyone
I took a photo of my cottage pink rose just before dark to compare it with Bushies.
DEB because it's an old rose, it's not grafted & I'm not sure but maybe if Bushies could get a little bit of it with some root attached from her friend she may be able to grow it. I haven't notice it around in plant nurseries. Mine is looking a bit wilted because It had grown a bit mad and I pulled all the branches up over the archway last weekend

Well, in the past I have used a silver coffee pot for a flower arrangement. You can use the sugar bowl.
What sort of succulent ? Round or spiky ?

Morning Debra 🙂
Love the pic of your rose:) Iwas yakking to my friend last night and she seems to think she has seen her rose growing wild along the road, she just has to remember which road lol so I can go and take a look.
I have some ideas runnning through my head re builing some raised garden beds up the back to plant more veggies, have been checking out some pics on the net this morning, doesn't look that difficult to do ( or so she thinks )
