After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Afternoon all ... xxxxx
My first chance to get back since yesterday, and talking about vanilla slices, well, I can honestly say I have never seen so many of those in one place at the same time ... there must have been at least 50 that ended up on the table, it was very exciting ... In fact, my hubby came home from the city to "investigate", quickly ate three for his lunch, grabbed two more and absconded with them.....
How 13 people got through that lot is astonishing, but they did, and I only had half of one, too rich for me.
Truly, the Australian "thing" for cake consumption is amazing! ....
Just reading back on the antics going on here .... , never fails to give me a smile.
The renovations are a sight to behold with all the pictures, I think everyone will be so happy when it's all over.
As soon as our 300 split curtain rings arrive, we'll put the netting up in the music room, the rods are there but they didn't come with the rings which is something of a blessing,as we did have to order a different sort anyway. Talk about hassle and modifications. Thank goodness for vanilla slices I say!!
Until next time ... (((( hugs ))))

Taz food fixes all ailments and disappointments
He wont finish until maybe this time next week. but, it will be lovely I know it will
My white cane hamper looks great, after a shower at my son's tonight we will call into Bunnings to pick up the things I ordered on line on the 11th. I had to ring them to find out where they were today and they tell me they are out of stock of 1 thing out of 4 so I told them to cancel them I will get them at Bunnings.

Ahhh, but they wouldn't have tasted as nice as Tasfleur's because you didn't have her company of cronies and chief taster
I'm a teeny weeny eager to get a peek at your music room Tas.
So Freddie, you've gone over the normal 20%-over-budget-allowance? That's keeping the economy going. But as I am assuming it is your "forever" home" what the heck. Your cane basket painted too. Well done.
Debra, I think we'd just better sit back and watch the others as they eat. While we eat a share of carrot sticks. Sandy care for a celery stick?.
Lyndal I'm supposing hubby is self employed to be doing those hours. Or is it contractual? (Tell me to go jump if you'd prefer not to share that info). Hope he gets weekends off.
Bushie must be keeping the economy going too, not having arrived back from town. Maybe a little night out for the pair of workers is on their agenda. Or she found another trampoline for a neighbour's goat.
Be back in later on. Behave. Yes, you that has gone red in the face.

Waves to DEB .... Dunno about the whole economy but I am sure that shares in Mitre 10 have gone through the roof since "The Bushies" came to town lol
