My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

After a shaky start to the day with high stress levels the day ended up OK, the Princess put on a turn to try and get out of going out but it didn't work. She's very naughty but between the staff and I we managed to get her showered and dressed and to the birthday lunch on time.

I'm very annoyed with her doing this to me.

That is extremely naughty. Glad the Princess did go and hope you both enjoyed the lunch very much

Re: My day

Good evening all  xxxx

Glad it has all worked out Freddie, thank goodness you could get her there without too much drama xx

Just a quick drop-in tonight with a semi picture of the new music room.  Still a little more to go yet but not much.  It's a huge room, so I could only take a part picture as it I couldn't stand back far enough to get the whole area in.

The banner across the curtains took forever to make and the music stand little quilts were made last year.  The wood panelling has led to wonderfully new acoustics and the netting, rather than drapes, has helped tremendously, as well as the wood flooring.

Christmas is on the way ...  Smiley Very Happy ... it's very exciting to now have a dedicated rehearsal area.

Re: My day

Pleased the Princess enjoyed her day Freddie.

Love that purple plant Nic.

Brisbane has had a horrendous few hours, hail, huge winds and lots of rain. My biggest girl is still in the city waiting for a tow truck and a cab, her new car is shattered! Hail damage to every surface and window, city is gridlocked.

Middle girl has no power and water streaming in through the downlights.

Youngest has a stained glass window, massive one in the stairwell, shattered by hail. My patio is flooded.

No one injured though so that's a bonus.

Re: My day

Glad your family is OK azureline.

Cars and windows, even ones of beauty, can be replaced...it's being safe that matters. Thoughts with everyone in Brisbane today.

Re: My day

Yoo Hoo anybody there?  Kettle's on.

Just learnt a new use for an older word.  'ACTION'

" I'm going to action some grocery shopping today"Smiley Very Happy

Sort of gets the blood pumping and looking to experience some excitement, don't you think?  Okay, aren't you even a little bit impressed?

***humph*** points nose further upwards***and struts off***

Well, I'm off to action some coffee making. '

Re: My day

Good morning all, Az how heart breaking a new car is a very loved item many of us have names for our car's but it's material things that can be replaced, thankfully no injuries.

Tas, you have done a marvellous job of  your music room I see many years of fun and wonderful times spent in that room with your friends.

Back into the reno's today, I may need to give him a push along today it's becoming too much of a routine maybe he likes our place better then his own home, maybe his wife is a nagger Woman LOL

Have a great day today, we have another cooler day with more rainy showers to make the gardens smile and settle the dust.
