After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

"Only 23 days to go ............ "
One day is blurring into the next and I've lost count ..... . so much going on and all at the same time, but no complaints .. it's keeping us busy.
Big annual gathering next weekend, oh my, but at least the house is almost ready. Still a big wide cake to make (chocolate fudge, not fruit) and decorate but there are lots of ideas about that on YouTube thank goodness, so it can be done the day before and very quickly. Still another "tree" to put up, but it's a different kind, just twigs and branches and will have lots of red birds clipped to it. Pictures later.
Hope all are having a great weekend or at least, a relaxing one xxx

Big night here tonight................we light up our Christmas display tonight.............after 4 weeks of putting it together.
Hi Flashie, no he didn't need to cut these 2 tiles, they are right in the middle of the floor in front of the toilet it was just like he was off with the fairies when he laid those 2 tiles. I have found a tile on the bathroom floor with a chip out of the edge of it it's not a big chip and could be touched up with some grout or a dab of silicon. But there is a box and a half of the floor tiles left over surely he must have noticed that when he put it down.

House is ready, voting done and I bought three fish that are now swimming around in the fish bowl on the patio table. I'll take some photos tomorrow.
Time for a rest, put my feet up and have a pear cider before my guest arrives, Beautiful weather here today.

I would be demanding he replace those tiles, not a huge deal at this stage. I have one that appears to be shade darker in thd en suite grrrr
Looks like our Premier will.hold his seat on the south west coast. And a safe Liberal seat again here....even at this early stage. Time will.tell

Have fun az, you're off out nightclubbing again.
freddie - that's good the tile layer will correct his mistake. Tiles are a very permanent feature in a house ...need to be laid properly.

..that was same tiling problem we had (plus another tile that wasn't straight) in the toilet room. I got the boss man to replace them. I said " If I wanted a bad tile job done I would have got my OH to do it"
It was a small toilet room.. not hard to do a good job I wouldn't think.
