My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Good morning everyone (is it??).  Wonderful wedding - very rustic but very enjoyable.  Their dog done the job but is still a bit wobbly and looking very old - poor thing.

Wonderful day amber - enjoy.

Sounds like your new dog has settled in twinkles.  All the dogs that are together often were at the wedding - they were no problem and added to the theme.

I rarely drink alcohol - my rule is Christmas & New Year only but I enjoyed a drink last night but feel a bit yuk this morning.

The wedding party down by the dam under the gum trees and the ring bearer dog - you can see the rings hanging arond her neck.

Edited to say looks like the photos didn't come out so I will try and repost them.

Re: My day

I think that's enough photos to give you an idea Smiley Very Happy.  There were lots more little signs and rustic touches.  They had a punch haybale table with different types of punch in those old fashioned containers but the photo mustn't have turned out.  I would say it was one of the best weddings I have been to.  Very relaxed, not too formal and just a happy, fun day.

Well we have a new premier. Guess we all wait now for the next lot of broken promises. Tunnel to be canned....ridiculas, the eastand west are desperate for it. Rail to Tullamarine canned. Pets not to be sold in pet shops and puppy farmers to be ebolished over 6 years....6 years! Will attendance times for ambulance response change? I hope so but wont hold my breath. And the unions....heaven help.us.While I am not a fan of the other major party either I see this being another mess and tty he excuse,  they have been left with such a mess to get around making promised changes, as they all do.

It seems the best way to get elected now is to promise to undo whatever the other side has done. The east west link doesnt affect me so I've kind of ignored all the talk about it, but talking to some friends who drive trucks and the like we desperately need it.

I'm sure like all governments before them they'll do some good and some bad. You never know, maybe they'll backflip on the roads?

As predicted my in my electorate the liberal sitting member has retained his seat with a small swing towards him. It probably wasnt the best idea for a local councillor to be the labor candidiate in an area completely ignored by local council.

Re: My day

Morning everyone.

Nice looking bridal party and ring bearer there and a relaxed atmosphere, Sandy.  Reading about everyone's happenings.  Some girls are gallivanting around.  Some basking in air conditioning. Freddie's saga continuing to cause some angst.

Got a call from DD yesterday.  She has not been taking her medication (Bi Polar) for a month and is in a frazzle.  I'm trying to conserve energy to visit and help mend her fragile state and to create a routine again for her life.  And to get our hair done together and do some shopping and to divert some attention from her innerself.  Life can be exhausting for me at times.  And now I will do what I can do, and dig a bit deeper in order to aid my child to the best of my ability.

So the plan is to travel tomorrow (about 3 hour drive).  I'll give the gardens a good soaking this evening, hoping the forecast showers will take care of things whilst I'm away.

I'm in a bit of a dither and can't think straight at the moment.  I think I may have to start a list. Or something.  Or make a cup of tea.Smiley Happy

May be back in here later.

DEB
