After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Thanks so much everyone, for the well wishes re the daughter. Things are not as bad as your DD's episodes this time, Sandy. She's been fairly good for 12 months or so. But when things don't go her way in real life, she sort of lapses into a "I don't care attitude, and I'll make them notice me" by not taking the meds.
Thanks for the Day Lily, Bushie. It's a beauty. It looks as though I'll miss the first flowering of mine here while I'm away. Those darn buds just won't open.
Our in-house musicians, Amber and Tas, are a pleasant surprise to our gathering. Oh, to turn off the world and become absorbed in music, and return energized bearing a happy demeanour.
Bluecat, Sandy and Freddie having a resting day. Good on you. The stresses and strains lately, have earnt that little bit of extra relaxation.
Twinkles, there is a bit of thunder rumbling around here; a very light shower, that had me dashing to the clothesline, still very humid.
Bushie, you powerhouse Go,go, girl. Flitting around in the airconditioning. I hope it is a relaxed afternoon for you and the fireman/painter.
Tonight might be the night for some more Chrissy lights to appear in our neighbourhoods.
Little more to do around here. I'll look in again in the morning, (because I'm nosey and want to know what's going on).
Have a nice evening one and all.

Missed acknowledging you Debra, hope your day has been a good one. (There wouldn't be any shopping involved, would there?)

Hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday 🙂 The Bushine household is shining, my new mat looks great in the lounge room, it will look even better once all the walls have been re painted and a new blind has been installed, still trying to choose paint colours atm, too many choices these days.
Mr B is busy sorting out all the chrissie lights atm, we are going to decorate the huge sunroom window and the verandah so it should look very pretty once it is done.
Still darn hot here atm, a change is coming through but ever so slowly.
Wonders where Miss Freddie is, haven't seen here today 😞

Where's the sunglasses? The Bushine household is glistening from a distance.
Some simple lighting on your verandah sounds good. And some more vibrant stuff for the sunroom.
I will be thinking about my Christmas "staging" for the sideboard, and a bit of lighting within a particular window that can be looked upon by the neighbours upon my return - maybe next Sunday.
Well, I will be off to DD later this morning. She sounds a bit better over the phone and appears to be looking forward to some attention from me. We'll try to get into a better eating schedule, and taking meds appropriately. A little bit of pampering at the hairdressers for each of us is also planned.
We will be digging out her Xmas decorations ready for display - she has a supply of a retail store display stuff - huge baubles, etc. that are normally hung from the trees around the rural property. The cows, dogs and native birds will be impressed .
A little rain fell here overnight, so the indoor plants are washed and have been brought back inside for the duration. The day lillies have still refused to open. However, my 3 year old jacarandas have each put out one single bract of flowers - hopefully a bigger display next year. I nipped the main stem from the red salvias to encourage bushiness and bigger display of flowers for Christmas.
Hope everyone is rested from the weekend and on an even keel, although I notice Sandy has that nagging cough once more.
Freddie, I hope things are better for you. I didn't get back to you about the Bee Cutter insect. I had never heard of them. Did a bit of googling to explore. Unless they are prolific, I'd just let them be. I tend to let nature sort itself out, and if the flowers/buds are not damaged it should be okay.
I will conduct a final check in/check out a little later.
