My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

It is worrying Deb, he lives on property in the bush. He said he goes over him every day he has all the bells and whitles tick shampoos collars and potions, but nothing seems to deter them.

I have had lots of experience with ticks in Northern NSW, so pleased to not have them here, I ended up using Pat Coleby's book, natural animal health, vitamin C treatment and saved many a dog, calf and piglet. Only once did we need the vet which was a costly and long recovery.

Of course the vet said "it must not have been a paralysis tick" but I took them to the National Parks office and had them examined and verified. He was suitably embarrassed, lol.

I hate ticks, what purpose do they serve?

I have taken my 7yo GD to school, had coffee with my sister and now going shopping, I need to buy a couple of gifts that require Christmas mailing.

Re: My day

Been to the shopping centre and did a bit of xmas shopping. Glad to be home. Daughter 1 is coming over this afternoon to help me put things that the ex wants from inside the house into his trailer. Then that should be it. He can sort out the things in the shed because he'd hav e abetter idea on what's his plus, I am over doing his packing for him. He has only 20 days to pick his belongings up by.

Time for a cuppa.

Re: My day

I hate rushing around all the time, so a lovely relaxing day here today enjoying the peace and quiet. I  pottered in the garden for a while, went up the road and bought some more flower seedling, then enjoyed a lovely brunch outside on the verahdah with Mr B

My daughter lives in Brisbane, she lost  her beloved cat to a tick a cpl of years ago. He was a totally inside cat, she came home from work to find he very sick, rushed him to the vet but sadly nothing could be done to save him.  There was also was a warning in the Courier Mail a cpl of months ago re ticks as well.

Antibiotics for the rescue dog. He really is settling in well considering all the changes. The back of my legs are taking a battering from the Elizabethian collar he has to wear lol. He now sits on command so learning quickly.

Have left the 2 dogs home alone for the first time....hmmm

Punch....hope you are ok and plans are fallingin place as easily as possible xxx Will talk soon.
