3.2 so just a small one and no where near the size of that monster a couple of years ago that found the dogs and myself huddled in a doorway

Good morning all xxx
Freddie, you will be really rejoicing shortly when the renovations are finished (properly) once and for all. It's a real shame that the tradie did not live up to what he could/said he would do and I'm so sorry it's been such a long haul.
When we had our bathroom done, it was exactly three days and they didn't fool around ... day 1, out came the shower unit, the floor ripped up, the floor "grinding" done for drainage, and the walls prepared, day 2; sealed the new shower area, installed the welded vinyl on the floor and walls, put up the shower curtain ceiling rail and put in the new vanity unit; day 3; put in the new cabinets around the vanity and marine varnished the whole top, installed the new shower unit, cleaned up to the point where you could not see where they had been and they were gone!
So it can be done in two to three days, and we relied on them to be constant and consistent, we were absolutely delighted that they were true to their word, they had a fabulous work ethic.
Thank goodness your bathroom will be finished very shortly, how frustrating and annoying it has been, but it will soon be over and there for you to enjoy for years to come ....

Some renos go smoothly Tas, some don't. What people dont "need" is to be knocked down and criticised when they are doing the best they can 😞

Couldn't agree with you more Bushie, my sentiments exactly.
Something for you Freddie ... and don't forget to sing at the top of your voice when you get into that new shower for the first time xxx
