morning everyone
really Twinks? We must've slept through it. They said on the news there was a small one 3.3 generated from Korrumburra the day before too
Freddie, another day closer to that bathroom being completed

here come the bathroom pics Bushies, Luckily our door is to one side, so we were able to fit a shower behind the door. the floor and wall tiling we did ourselves, but we got a plumber to change the plumbing and put the fittings in. Our is not as long as you're, but it's narrow

Beautiful bathroom, Deb.
I've been working on the cat's room. I've moved the huge cat gym from the loungeroom and into the sunroom [cat's room], moved out the smelly peed on couch [grrr],started spray painting a set of shelves which will be moved into the lounge room, vacuumed and mopped. I also bought some cat netting which arrived yesterday so I put that up in the back patio area. It will do for the time being until I can organise something more substantial.
18 days to go.....

Home from the "big smoke" omg it's a jungle out there atm, where I shop is not a huge place but big enough for me, I dont know how people who live in large cities cope with the all noise, traffic, people etc., I much prefer the peace and quiet of my little town.
Debra I love your bathroom, it all blends to together perfectly. Are the tiles original or repos? I was looking at some similar tiles in Mitre 10 a few weeks ago and thought how lovely they looked. I wish my bathroom was wider and not so long, would make placing things a little easier as everything really has to go down one wall.

thanks Blue, old style is not to everyone's taste. these days people like putting really modern bathrooms into old houses but at the time we did it, we wanted to keep it in style with the house.
Bushes, all the tiles are repro. the vanilla ones are Johnson, I can't remember what make the border tiles were. The floor tiles I think we got from tile mart & OH & i laid them all ourselves.
The bath is a reconditioned bath that came from a paddock
the medicIne cabinet on our wall, is from our first house, I've carted that around and used it in our past 4 houses lol

It's beautiful Debra. I live in an old house too and like to renovate in keeping with its personality. Really impressed you did the tiling, wow 🙂
Did feel the earthquake this morning, it woke me up. Massive rumble that did not quite sound like a 100 pound possum in the roof.

thanks Amber, we've done quite a lot ourselves but we always get the proffessionals in for wiring and plumbing. We even installed our kitchen ourselves, it was an ex display one I bought from a showroom
we didn't feel the earthquake here, must've been sound asleep, but twinks said further back that it shook her house this morning
