After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this
Solved! Go to Solution.

I must gave slept through the earthquake, too. My dog spent the night inside because of her thunderstorm phobia and was sooking on and off during the night so I'd imagine that the quake did nothing to calm her. All of the animals are clingy today, though. A quiet day for me. I had an appointment with my shrink this afternoon and all went well. For the first time in the past 5 months, I did not cry. Hopefully, my state of mind will continue to improve.
Only 18 more sleeps [did I say that already?]

Never mind blue... I'm sure everyone here understands why
Not long now Freddie and all will be finished!
Love seeing all the pics - I have a few that I need to download ....
I have been sooooo busy, barey had time to scratch myself! Just waved goodbye to the OH's cousin and hubby - lovely pommy couple that come over here every summer, they now have two of their children and their families living here so it is an anual visit.
We have finally decided on the RE for when we sell (NOT the one you had, Freddie!) - our house will go on the market as soon as OH gets back home. Yes, we have missed the "prime" selling time but I really couldn't care - I need time to do more clearing out! I have been slowly decluttering for the last 12 months, and AT LAST got OH (the paper hoarder from hell!) to go through his crates (and crates and crates... ) of papers - now down to only 2 crates!!
Now I have to clear out all my "clutter" - mostly family photos (a LOT of them!!) and mementos from our travels... as well as revamp the gardens, re-organize the pot plants, clean out the garage, etc etc. I get tired thinking about it

Good luck with selling, I am not a hoarder but Mr B is, I just leave him to it these days lol Moving house is the pits, we moved here last Jan and I am still finding things I had forgotten I owned.
Debra, apart from the re stumping we are doing everything ourselves as well, it's much slower than getting tradies to do it, but it has saved us many $1000's and you have a whole house to renovate, the savings really add up. we did get a guy to paint the kitchen ceiling, never again, all the rest of the painting will be done by Mr B.
BC You will get there, everyone heals in their own time and from what you have written, it wasn't an easy time for you ๐

Grandchildren have a curriculum day tomorrow so arriving for a sleep over soon....promises were made to put up the Christmas tree ๐
Clearing the corner spot in rediness. Miss 11 did a fabulous job decorating it last year .....hopefully this years tree looks as good. Very arts and craft she is with a good eye for detail. Miss 8 will no doubt be finished in 10 minutes and off outside playing with the 2 dogs.
Do miss my fireplace to hang the stockings up this house but certainly don't miss cleaning it out after a fire.
Back to rearranging the lounge before their arrival....love being a grandma ๐

Bloody terrific, now that's what I call a refined and understated bathroom, with tons of appeal. I always knew you were a closet style-meister, Debra. ๐

Question for those who have grown/grow Daylilys .... My other Dalilys have thicker, fleshy foliage, the one in the pic has a softer, light green foliage .... Daylily or not?
