My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Sadly bushie it sounds like it's your turn now to fight for what should rightfully be fixed without needing to age 10yrs over these scoundrels who think they can get away with shoddy workmanship. Hands Bushie a couple of Bluey's frypans Woman LOL

Re: My day

This is what he has left us with freddie, I spoke with the building inspector and also consumer affairs again today, he has to fix it but it's going to be long, drawn out process and we can't renovate the rest of the bathroom until he does.

Re: My day

Here's hoping those fool workers can be made to undo all the damage they have inflicted on you Bushie, how horrible that they did that.  Too much slop and not enough proper training by the sound of it too, either that, or they are just plain incompetent, have a don't care attitude, and should not be licensed at all.

Compared to what has happened to you and Freddie, we have been incredibly lucky, a few hiccups along the way, but nothing like you have had to put up with.

Re: My day

Oh good grief ... post 3112 ... Bushie, what an appalling job they've done, if you can call it a job.   Seems to me that you might have to take them to court ultimately if consumer affairs doesn't get onto it.

Re: My day

I'm sure most people would go with the flow and be reasonable, but it's annoying when it's you who does all the giving and then find it's not being returned. The day his dog was sick, I could have been a cranky old cow and said no stay here and finish your day, but I was only too happy to tell him to go home. Then another day a wheel fell off his trailer on his way here, he wanted to leave after a couple of hours to go get it fixed. Another day he wanted to leave after a few hours because they had visitors I said fine see you tomorrow.

Re: My day

He just wasn't worth it Freddie, not one iota.

Upward and onward now, it won't be long before it's finished and you can sit back and absolutely enjoy it once completed, you'll be so pleased.

Time for me to say goodnight now ... big day on Sunday and tomorrow is all preparation.

Will be thinking of all those here who are looking after pets and those who are taking care of their loved ones.

Night night, sweet dreams xxxxx

Re: My day

Freddie, you must assert your authority and don't be afraid to stand by your convictions. I won't blame you for choosing a terrible tradie (I myself win the blue ribbon award for hiring a horror tradesman) but you cannot let these criminals get the better of you and be condescending/treating you like an idiot when you know you are right. If it's any consolation, they know you're right too, they're just money hungry crooks who hate their job and way of life and feel we should pay for their misery.

Re: My day

yes they did Freddie, they shouldn't have lifed the bathroom floor in the first place, then they used sledge hammers to bash it back down again, which smashed more to the slate and the concrete slab. It will go to mediation with Consumer Affairs first, it he does agree to fix it, it will then go to VCAT. We will win but it still doesnt make it any easier.

Niters Tas take care 🙂
