My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

It's such a drag when you need to fight to force these shoddy operators to do the right thing, but it's all worth it in the long run once it goes to Fair Trading they have the black mark beside their name. Hang in Bushies sometimes they come good before it gets to the mediation.

Re: My day

I totally agree Freddie, definately some shoody tradies around these days 😞

Cool and drizzling rain here atm, so who knows what the rest of the day will bring.

When I was shopping on Thurs I bought the two painted teracotta pots, I think they suit my dresser quite nicely. Still un decided whether to put a plant in them or just leave them as they are for now.

Re: My day

Absolute disaster the shower is leaking out onto the tiles so bad I couldn't even shower. This is an utter mess.

Re: My day

oh Freddie!!!

so disappointing!

you might have to find someone else to fix it, but it's getting close to Christmas and most tradies are pretty busy.

I wouldn't get the same guy back to fix it under any circumstances.

you'll have to have a good think about what to do

Re: My day

morning Bushies,

in your pic back there, has the wall moved away from the slab??

how can it be fixed, will more concrete have to be poured to fill the gap?

Re: My day

Debra, It's hard to explain, because of the re stumping the wall is now above the slab. Until the slate tiles are all removed I don't know how far the damage to the slab extends. ATM I am not sure how it will be done, I just KNOW it will be!  On Mon I am phoning the Vic Building Authority to get some more advice from them. When I told the building inspector what they had done he wasn't impressed at all.

What the builder should have done is release the house from the slab BEFORE he jacked it up and he didn't 😞
