Having guests to dinner tonight and buzzing around like the proverbial BAF
Graham settles himself at his train table and blind separation anxiety pooch falls asleep on her bend.
hmmm thinks I, perfect time for floor washing. I have a largish house with white tiles right through except the bedrooms.
Just finished, floor wet, Graham decides to wander through, dog senses movement and decides to wander through too.
Excuse me while I go wash the floor ok

Home deliveries can be a nuisance to co-ordinate. And it will be interesting to see if the newer one has any design problems, am3.
Hearing the good health news is wonderful, Freddie. And those colourful clothing options sound good too.
The bargain pricing at the moment is "encouraging the economy". I bought 3 pairs of shoes with a 40% discount. Happy to help Australia with my Made in China purchases. Even though it is a biennial event for me.

Had a whole lot more written; but my scintillating discussion went off into the magical nether region. So you all miss out. Again.
About to have a small piece of salmon and salad for dinner.

Freddie was posted last Wed ( they told me Tues ), from only 30km away, if they had phoned me I could have driven in and picked it up. It's my replacement thongs, so I hope they haven't been lost

I knew the hall table legs needed more bolts....I mean who designs these things and only uses 1 bolt in each leg? So wobbly legs. As I walked past it this evening I thought to myself now is the time to fix those legs, so headed towards the door for tools only to hear a large bang and the smashing of glass etc. 2 excited dogs had walked straight into knocking off a leg and sending everything flying through the bathroom door! So 2 smashed bowls and my adored turtle given by Miss 11 unsavable. So table minus legs is now sat flat on the floor until the.weekend.
Then.....the rescue dog aka naughty dog, had chewed up my wicker pot. Then found him on the outside of the net on the trampoline. I think he has come out if his shell lol Yet let him inside and straight on his bed and sleeping. Bed for me, big day tomorrow ๐

Oh dear! must be the day for it! My sister has an old old buffet that was our mum's, nothing special about it but she refused to get rid of it despite us all trying.................
Today, she heard a huge crash.............. a leg had broken and the buffet crashed..............
I was in her car as she was telling me, so I said "hurray!" both nieces agreed but my sister was not impressed, lol.
She intends to fix it
I said, it's time..............but she isn't ready. I said, obviously it has had enough...... and it wants to go.......... my nieces were hysterical.
Really, it's an old old laminated buffet on metal legs with sliding glass doors and 3 drawers and it's ugly. She has other lovely cabinets but she just can't let go.
So now I feel guilty and have to go shopping for new matching legs.
