I'd better say goodnight for now, for nearly two hours the rich festive Creole cake has been cooking and the house smells gorgeous .. time to go rescue it.
You might like to know it had been soaking in cherry brandy, brandy, rum, port and a tiny bit of whiskey for three days and has two kilos of all sorts of different fruits, nuts and spices in it ..... ![]()
Thank you so much for all the help everyone, I'll keep you in touch and informed as it goes xxx

tas I have a large fushcia growning in my shade house, this house was vacant for over a year and it survived. It was a very scraggy looking when I moved here, so I cut it back to almost nothing and it has bounced back bigger than it was before.

Yep. Have letters from Hospital to give him. But.......
He's only on duty Wed and Thurs. every week.
Certainly not wasting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on the doctor!
I'll obliterate the pain with pills and booze!
Just like a good hippy should.
Hoping foot will be walkable tomorrow. But they said 'stay home'
Only walk around the house.
Anyway, was miserable this morning. much better now

Yes, aps, they look wonderful in hanging baskets.
There are so many varieties of what I call dancing ballerinas.
And Tasfleur's looks to be a "double"; with quick action it might be saved. Fingers crossed.
Stawka, home again, jiggidy jig.
You'll have to accept being served hand and foot for awhile.
