After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I sometimes hear them here.  But a few weeks ago drove through Wyoming.  Yes, the Bellbirds are still around.  

However, I had to hold my nose and throat shut as long as possible due to the privet bushes being in flower.  The area appears to have become so run down.  I wonder if there is some development to start in the near future. 

Drove back along the Ridgeway (which is being upgraded substantially) from Lisarow to Tumbi Umbi.

Steam and dust on slimline blinds are awful to keep clean in wet areas, it just sticks....never again will I make that mistake freddie. Mind you J8m's blind cleaning service was wonderful.

Hi bushie - beautiful weather here and not a bad day.  Shopped, visited, ironed, sewed and niow relaxing.  We were going to the Carols in the Park but feel a bit too tired tonight.  How was your day?

Been a bit quiet in here today - everyone is busy getting organised.  We have friends coming for a bbq tomorrow night.  The male had a stroke around 18 months ago and is basically in a wheelchair most of the time.  He can slowly take a few steps but it is a bit of a struggle.

Hope the Princess was on her best behavious today .  Freddie, have you been for your complimentary dinner yet?

Lurker, you have the best kind of pool .  I done most of my grocery shopping this morning and really just need fruit and vegies and some more meat for our daughter's birthday bbq on Boxing Day. 

Debra, enjoy your afternoon tea.  I think cicadas only come every so many years.  I'm sure I've heard that.  Noisy little blighters when they are around.

I like az's idea as well for freddie's bathroom but another option is a patterned holland blind in the fabric design az put up.

Enjoy the lights tonight Deb.  Hope it is as nice an evening as it is here.  Would have been a good night to go to the carols.  They have sideshows, rides, food, and fireworks as well as the Carols.

Good evening Sandy - sounds like you have quite a busy day, not suprised you are feeling tired.

It's quite warm here, so both a/c's were turned on to keep the me cool while I cleaned the house from top to bottom. I am out most of tomorrow, have friends here on Tues for lunch, another friend is coming for arvo tea on Wed, so today was the only day I had to to do it. All nice and shiney now 🙂
