After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Might be an idea to turn off the HWS in the fuse box. And the tap into the tank. The water will have to be drained out before work can begin.
Oh, and good morning Freddie, you exercise buff, you.
I was looking up "beautiful/proportional faces" from a topic on another thread. I don't think I'll be looking into a mirror till.........at least next year.

DEB we turned it off as soon as it went kaboom.
So the hot water is just what's left in the system.
I did a big warm wash yesterday, so after we both shower this morning that might just about do it.
DEB I love to keep fit-ish which is imortant as we age keep the bones healthy and the body and mind sharp

It has started to rain here.
Looks like a domestic chore day coming up. How can I make it gob-wide-all-teeth-showing exciting, I wonder.

Good morning ๐
Freddie I hope all goes well with the HWS installation today, you really DONT need any more hassles
Aps I love sunrise as well, though I am usually in the land of nod when it happens
DEB I love the maggies, I have one who visits each morning for brekkie
Yep was one of my beloved sheps who was missing, fence checks have been done, gates have been checked, everything seems ok.
I am **bleep** re my dogs security, when we sought permission for the 2 extra dogs, the two rangers who inspected our backyard congratulated us how secure we had made everything.

I wonder if he was just hiding in a shed or something Bushie, if all gates were closed it's hard to imagine how he would get out. Sheps don't usually wander away unless their family members have gone outside do they?

I wonder how your Houdini dog got out, Bushie? Quite a mystery.
I ripped up some more of the vinyl on the bathroom floor - I still can't believe that it was laid straight on top of the floorboards. The floorboards are beautiful - Mountain Ash, if I remember correctly. I've decided to go bold with the colour of the walls, well, on one wall.
The wall behind the washbasin will be a deep blue with the other walls being a light colour. I'll be visiting my youngest this afternoonn so, afterwards, I'll get some paint sample pots before going to the supermarket.

I would like to wish everyone all the very best for 2015, I hope it's a wonderful year for you all!
Thanks for your concern re Kaiser, you are right Freddie sheps rarely stray from their family/home their guarding instinct is very stong, so they like to staty close to their "pack". The only think we can think of is that he followed Mr B out the gate and he just didnt see him before he shut the gate, unusual, but it's all we can think of for now.
BC You are really getting into it now, will follow your bathroom renos with interest, your floor sounds lovely, are you going to leave it that way?
Freddie How did the HSW installation go? Smoothly I hope ๐
Today was spent grocery shopping ( boring ) and "browsing" in Mitre 10. We now have new hoses, extra fittings, polypipe, garden sprinklers etc, all ready and waiting to be connected. Also came home armed with a zillion paint colour charts, 2015 is the year for painting inside and out.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their afternoon and taking it easy
