After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I've just sent off a quick message Helen to ask if she's OK and to let her know that we're getting worried about her

. If she doesn't respond, that will make me worry more. If she responds, I'll post in here straight away, but I'm hoping she might just turn here up herself

Good morning everyone ...... 

Am hurtling through right now (as usual), a little bit of spontaneous renovating going on here at the moment, something we missed but can do ourselves thank goodness.

Yes, where is Freddie?

I've just scrolled back a little way quickly to see there has been some sadness, I am so sorry and my heart goes out to those who are suffering and may things get so much better straight away xxxx

*Waving to Bushie and Aps, my favourite gardeners* .... you'll be pleased to know the garden is coming along very nicely now, even the shrivelled little plant picked up and started happily getting taller.  New leaves as well, I thought it would expire when I pulled just about every leaf off of it but it didn't, and away it went ...     Even the "funny" bush with fingers is shooting up at the top in a burst of regrowth.   Had a lot of rain though, so that would have helped.

So glad the weekend is coming up, fish 'n' chippies tomorrow and no real work to do, other than finish off what we probably shouldn't have started around the window frame, but hey, it's a once off ....

Deb, I tried on dirndls with another girl (for the same party). She found one but I didn't. I am a bit of a strange shape. Have bought one off eBay. Should be here tomorrow.

Freddie, I hope everything is ok, just a tad concerned atm

Spent the day in Hamilton shopping, it was far less crowded than it was at The Mount last week thank goodness, it was total chaos over there.  bty aps diesel was 7c per litre more expensive in Hamilton than it was at The Mount last Fri.  Met up with a friend while I was there, swapped her bag of my plums for a bag of her delish apricots, loving the barter system. Darn, meant to buy some cherries and totally forgot.

DEB  Tis a secret so dont tell anyone else, the pine lining boards are going to be put on the bathroom walls. The room is so long and narrow, tiles along  17 feet of wall, would look too much imo, so we have decided on painted dado boards instead.
