After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Wow tas! That's impressive. I so wish I had learnt to play an instrument. I can sing (mostly in tune ๐ ) and sometimes think about joining a choir but that's about it.
OH has been driving me nuts over the last couple of days. Downstairs has floor tiles which the previous owners painted. The paint has started to flake and lift so himself has started chipping off all the remaining paint. His mate came round yesterday and after trying several methods they have decided that scraping/chipping is the way to go. I suggested paint stripper but apparently I know nothing, and anyway it's too expensive for the area. Chip, chip, chip, chip. grrrrrrr

Excellent Amber xx I know what auditioning and audition pieces are all about both from the listening and the playing angle: auditioning can be very stressful.

At least they are not having you do all the slow chipping, that would be even more annoying.
tas, it's been stressful for both of us! But sounding good now.

Lurker, your voice is truly an instrument, so from that point of view, you can play one, so never stop xxx
Urk, getting paint off of tiles, what an awful job. Getting paint off of wallpaper in order to get it off walls is a horror story too, we've just been through some of that .... *gag* Dunno about the "chipping" though, they might be there for a long time.

I'd better say goodnight for now ((((and hugs for Freddie, come back soon)))).
Sleep tight and sweet dreams all xxx

those cheeky possums love my roof, most nights I hear them thumping across and then straight onto the power line which just happens to be right outside my open bedroom window..they seem to pickoff lots of stuff my tree which is noisy...lol
the hissing sound they make(mating??)is loud and scary sounding when I first heard it..

Had a family of foxes under the house with very cute cubs. But the racket was awful as they played all night. They took care of the rats nicely though.

Foxes are consider to be vemin around here Amber, I can understand why

Yes, I know. We didn't want to "take care of them" but wired the hole to stop them breeding there again. Once they were gone. Around here there are few foxes but more people getting chickens. That will encourage more foxes. Stupid idea here.
