My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Good morning all.

Hot, hot, hot here today.

Got out to do some of the dreaded ironing - couldn't see the skink - either back in the garden playing or raising a family under the freezer.

Lurker - if you know of someone passing through - just south of the 'gong' - I have a whole heap of agarve in the garden.

They are succulent - easy to grow - can't kill them with a brick.

Look great in pots on the deck.

Have a great day all.

Re: My day

Looking good, Bushie. When should they be completed?

I'm off to Bunnings today to buy a few things that will, hopefully, allow me to finally fix that leaking tap. I live in hope.Cat Happy

Re: My day

Our screens are powder coated aluminium - we are in an over 55 village and all the houses have these privacy screens - maintenance free and look quite nice.

Re: My day

There are a few creatures raising families inside the house here. Mostly spiders but I have spotted skinks and geckos.

Re: My day

I used to love the little geckos when we lived in Queensland - we dont have them here but I do have a wooden one on my wall.

Re: My day

Hi everyone!

Been busy here  - we had a flying visit fro our DD and her family, they stayed the night then headed off to Qld to Wet and Wild this morning... they may come back next week on their way back home, not sure as yet.

Loved seeing the grandkids, the eldest is starting High School and is just a wee bit excited!

Today has been HOT!

I had plans to do a heap of tidying in the back garden (we are having the for sale pics taken on Wednesday) but can't handle the hea outside just yet.

But we got a few more things sorted out inside so today wasn't a waste!

Those steps are coming along well, bushie!

I like the small palm type plants for patio pots. That said, I have 5 of the small type roses out the front on the verandah here!

Re: My day

Morning everyone,

A tad cool here this morning, cant believe how much the grass has grown with all the rain we have had, moving the grass here in summer is usually unheard of lol

Steps are slowly taking shape, very happy with their progress, they will make the front of the house look so much better, then we can start on re vamping the front path, it just never ends lol

Hope everyone has an enjoyable day 🙂

You too Bushie 🙂

Feeling pretty happy today. Respite from the heat and some worry is gone for now.

Re: My day

The cats' room has been stripped, kitty litter trays cleaned, walls wiped down, and floors washed. Once the floors are dry, I'll start moving things back into the room and spray everything with Feliway. Hopefully, the cats will behave themselves....

I'm taking advantage of the cooler weather while it lasts. Today, I am working on the inside; tomorrow, I'll be working on the outside.
