My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

I would love to see Bushie's steps also.

We have decided we would like a water feature in our little garden so that is on the agenda when we come back from our holiday.

We leave on Saturday for a two week cruise round New Zealand - so looking forward to it.

Katy, I sincerely hope your "sacrifice" will be matched by their own "sacrifices".

Are there children as well?

Their assistance around the house may be beneficial to you and your hubby.  How is he, by the way?

Deb, no children, that would be just too hard. Believe me I will be keeping an eye on them as far as saving goes. The time frame is 12 months, so they know they have to get their heads down. Son's partner is a lovely girl, and will help out.

OH is 9 weeks past his surgery now and going very well. He has started walking this week, and has ventured out into his workshop. His forced retirement is going to take a bit of getting used to however.

Re: My day

Debra, the lost summer has found it's way here. Projected 30s for a week.

Been busy catching up on my British crime drama DVDs during the day and working at night.

Bushie...steps please...

Re: My day

Hi Amber, yes it's warming up so hopefully will be able to wear some of those summer clothes I bought. We need large wardrobes in Melb. Because we sometimes have so many seasons in one day,

that's my excuse for my overflowing wardrobe anyway 😀

Where is Bushies? I would like to see how her steps are coming along too

Re: My day

I am a bit flat today... well a lot flat really

My lovely local Australia Post  lady passed away suddenly last night.

She was a beautiful soul, always kind and caring to the elderly customers, always had a moment for me to moan about ebay to her, and she battled myriad major health issues from a work place accident some years ago with never a complaint.

I spoke to her just about every week day since I started selling here, she was always so helpful. And had a healthy disrespect for the beurocracy of AP.

Her hubby had recently joined her in the shop (made redundant) and they were going to sell and retire...

she never got the chance.

Re: My day

How sad.

You never know, do you, just what is in store for us.  So sad for her husband - those plans now not attainable.

Makes me determined to make the most of what time I may have left - and enjoy every moment.
