After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I have just spent several weeks looking for new sandals/shoes................... for my trip to Hawaii. Finally managed to find some Homy Ped brand and to order them as well, so still waiting. My old ones need new lining.
The Dr has suggested I have cortisone injections into the joint..... or the joint fused with surgery.
I will need to see the orthopod though.
Today my back garden is looking lovely, my mower lady has mown the grass and whipper snipped the edges!! I also listed the massive water trough for sale, we have had it since the farm, 10 years ago and always intended to use a pond.............now to list the milking machine, lol
Hope Freddie returns soon.

Good to see the pictures of the finished steps - they do look lovely.
My OH has been installing a water feature in the garden - now finished and am very happy with it.

Sucking on an iceblock here. Humid, hot. Very drained of the bit of energy I normally have.
Thunder overhead and the wind coming up from the south is sounding like trains through the trees uphill of here now.
Watched ABC TV, learnt more about Shakespeare's As You Like It in an hour, than any lectures of a lifetime before. (Had Vanessa Redgrave and Helen Mirren talking about their roles in the past) I had a pop-up book of the Globe theatre as a child Auntie trying to encourage me. Is my brain ready at last?
Been thinking about the path situation Bushie. Everyone must remember I don't know dimensions, North, etc. so I'm just putting some options.
1. Is the current front path used at all?
2. Put paths where they will be used, i.e. Mr bushie pushing a barrow, dogs tracking about the place, carrying shopping, etc..
3. I used the garden hose as an interim "let's live with this course for a while" scenario; to see if "cutting corners" wears away the lawn.
4. Mention was made previously of an arch for roses previously. And the "fruit/shade tree is that for the front yard?
Personally, I like curves in gardens and paths that disappear around a corner.
I imagine "walking along the street to your driveway, I will saunter up the driveway to a path that runs along the front of your house to either of the set of steps, the path will curve around the side of the far steps. The path has the rose garden edge as a straight edge but the other side might have a wandering curved shape. I like 2-people walking side-by-side paths."

Morning all, hope you are all well.
Hi to all the MIA's !
Bushie
It just hit me what I like about those steps.
The fact you have 2 sets of steps a short distance apart from each other.
It looks very good.
Have a good day everyone.

not sure what the last few posts are really about but your steps look great Bushies, especially the bannisters, they really look good, Mr B has done a wonderful job there.
