Very pretty B3, your garden is going to look lovely ๐
Hope all goes well on Fri, if not before .... Does she know the baby's gender?
I have moved bits and piece around my yard, so I could have the veggie gardens in contained into one area, made more sense and much easier to fence.
Cause I get frosts, I dont grow much through winter. I have cabbage, Chinese cabbage, peas and spring onions ready for harvesting atm. Potatoes, lettuce and raspberries will be planted this week, then as the weather warms up, more veggies will be added. Have 2 varieties of strawbs growing, one is flowering now, the other one will fruit later on.
Took this pic a week ago, losts more flowers now

Bushie, I have some strawberries in a pot - they are just starting to look they might be growing on a bit I hope to get some fruit from them, but I am thinking that when they put out runners I might plant a row around the very edge of the veggie garden and let them go nuts there! I had 3 different varieties down south, including one with pretty pink flowers, but I can't remember if any of those made it into the pot.
I have a couple of different freesias just opening today - a gorgeous purple and a burgundy reddish one.. same HUGE blooms! They will look stunning when they whole edge has opened up! Still no idea about what sprouted from under them, no sign of buds there as yet....
To late for me to put in peas now I think, but I do need to get a trellis of some kind up for the cucumbers I want to plant. We eat a lot of them in summer, as well as tomatoes. I love the yellow ones!
STILL NO BABY!!!!!

omg B3 your daughter must be ready to explode lol ... I guess you and she are looking forward to Fri happening
This is the 2nd season for the strawbs in the front garden, I have let them go to try to fill up the whole area with them. They should be good for 1 or 2 more seasons, thne the older plants will be replaced with new ones.
I have have the other variety growing out the back in pallets, I planted 24 of them and they all seem to be thriving, too early for flowers, they are a later "fruiter".
I love both toms and cues, so will be growing heaps of both .... started some Lebanese cue seeds, hoping they will germinate

So what's happening in this neck of the woods. Is everyone enjoying spring? ๐

So far...been quick change to mild, sunny weather after heavy rainfall. Loving it.
how did the house repairs turn out Joono?
on โ02-09-2015 04:48 PM
They went brilliantly thanks Amber. All of the cracks have been fixed up and the major ones they pinned the walls. It meant a new paint job for the whole house but the builders wouldn't do the painting so we took care of that with a couple of local painters.
The verandah has now been fixed too, at least the woodwork part.

That's terrific Joono. Fresh paint must feel a bit like being in a new house. Very envious right now ๐

It does. It all feels so much fresher in here now. The colour is slightly lighter than we had before which I love. It cost a fortune though but at least all the plastering was taken care of by the builders.
