After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Very warm here today, great weather for painting, which is coming along nicely. I spent the morning down at the lake with a friend while our dogs had fun, then back to her house to see her house reno progress and check out her new sheep and chooks. Back home to cook lunch and admire Mr B's painting, rest time now, too hot to be outside now.
Freddie you RE agent need a reality check I think

No, you shouldn't have to be at a loss for that. But, if the RE still have the keys, and the previous owner might, and any prior occupants, and any spares floating around...I would be getting a quote on locks just for security.
locks are a bit of a sore point with me. A family member (of the hubby) had a key from when this was their family home. She thought nothing of letting herself in whenever she felt like it. Even helped herself to things. When it was my things, I asked hubby to have a word. He did. She went nuts. All he said was, could I have them back when done (my things were books).
As soon as one of the locks went a bit funny, that was my opportunity to get the lot changed.
Inagine strangers having keys. Best not.

That problem will be solved when we get a new front door the only other access is via the garage roller door and it's has a new motor we are the only ones with a remote to it.

LOL. Someone at the RE needs to update their records.

If the agent has keys to your home you have the right to demand them back

at my local shops the signage came down from one shopfront, taking a little of the support down too. There were asbestos guys in hazmat suits hosing it down and clearing it up.
No asbestos as it's a new centre, 2 -3 years old.
Always a good idea to change the lock barrels when you buy a property freddie. I bought a brand new house where the locks automatically switch over to my key from the builders key on the first turn.
Just arrived home to find a lovely note on my bed....all hearts and kisses lol Has made my day ๐
