My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Are you going to call them in the morning Freddie, or march on in to the store?

Sure is Freddie, Spring came and went, I think ๐Ÿ˜ž It's unseasonal for this time of the year, not good for lambing season either ๐Ÿ˜ž

Firstly I will ring a Carpet/tile/vinyl place out of my area and ask for their opinion about what's happening. Then I will go to Carpet Craft and see what they have to say.

Good luck with it Freddie, hopefully it is just a temporary thing. Weird though ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Morning everyone.  Sun's peeping through some cloud, and making the windswept leaves sparkle from overnight rain.

Just been catching up with the posts from when I was AWOL.

Bushie, I know you are "up and at 'em" already.  I read about your purchase of a garden shredder.  I've been considering about getting one.  Would you mind giving a review on yours?  Petrol/electric? What max size of woody stems, etc?

Morning ๐Ÿ™‚ .....just think the vinyl must be porous freddie allowing colour to dislodge? If you know the manufacturer I'd give them a cal direct.

Have been reading an excellent article on ex race horses and how they are rehomed wide and far. Some lovely pics posted by their now owners. Lovely. So many mistruths being told about all this.

My Friends Forever rose...known as the Toby rose by my grandies....has flowered. Given to me following the sudden and unexpected death of my beloved dog. His ashes are buried under the rose.

If anyone is looking for a new rose with a brilliant scent you can't go past the Childrens rose. Huge deep mauve bloomsand the scent is stunning. Hopefully I can find another soon for here. Not a small bush by any means and grows quickly.

My nameless red rose as I call it is about to burst into flower....50 year old bush that my dad planted and has been dug up and moved several times as I have moved homes. No one seems to know the name of this one.

Freddie, do you happen to have a small offcut from when your vinyl was laid?  If so, take that with you so you know it is the same batch.  They could palm anything off as the same vinyl when you turn up on their doorstep.

I had something similar happen with a carpet....I ordered a gold with a fleck of cream carpet square for my rumpus room.  What turned up was cream with a fleck of gold...far too light for the room.  I went back to the store and they maintained that they only had the one carpet...I must have imagined how dark it was.  Yep, a polite way of telling me I was a liar.  I knew I had bought the last of the roll of the gold/cream but it was funny that the sample had disappeared from the book too.
