After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

2 x white so far, another thing is the white splashback in the shower area is on the same wall as the vanity.

Then I definitely think white. If you bring too many different products or colours on the one wall, it won't be as stream lined. But that's just my opinion. You can probably see the image in your head better than us.
Just waiting for friends to arrive. We have card making and scrapbooking here on Mondays.
I don't blame you for being concerned about that residue - it could be anything. I think he pulled that "atmospheric dust" from somewhere the sun don't shine .

Thanks Sandy so you think white splashback, we need to make up our mind today because the splashback takes 10 days to get it in.
What do you think Julia?
i dont think you sound paranoid.
not knowing what it is, is concerning
and they should understand it imo.

Next stop Telstra, I'm considering mentioning the ombudsman in my opening sentence
So apparently I didnt pay my July BAS....ooops
Telstra were useless, complaint lodged with the ombudsman.

Morning everyone. Been roaming around.
Freddie, about time the manufacturing rep was brought into the flooring issue. I wonder if carpet craft has taken if off their availability list. And how many clients have complained - or do they put up with the atmospheric problems?
Now, onto the vanity/mirror dilemma.
I would advise strongly against the mirror meeting with the vanity - moisture will eventually affect the backing of the mirror.
I'm guessing that the mirror (including frame) will be the same width as the vanity?
I am of the mind that whatever white tiles you choose for the vanity splashback has to tone with the white of your vanity.
There is white shower wall, and there is white tiles for the other shower wall, and then there is white walls, white flooring, then a white vanity, with white splashback.
That's a lot of possible different sorts of white. I maybe, sort of, would be considering cream or slightly tinted other colour, say mint green for the walls (that would help to marry-in the whites).
You mentioned a light near the vanity, I think. Is it a wall mount? And what about a power point, too. Not forgetting that it should be a certain distance from the sink for Building Code.
Just some thoughts to play with.

I thought the plan was to move your vanity to the opposite wall from the current one.

That moving plan was ditched Deb, we decided the room would be less crowded by leaving that space for free movement around the bathroom.
the light is this one with the energy saving bulbs which will go into the power already there without needing to change it. http://www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-240v-rochester-3-cylinder-aluminium-and-chrome-spotlight_p7071034

There are no white tiles Deb, one wall of the frameless glass shower recess comes with one splashback wall - we chose a white splash back.................The wall which has the chrome mixer and shower will have the same tiles as the floor, kickboard and the separate toilet and it's kickboard. The tiles are similar to these, the ones we have picked don't show on Bunnings website http://www.bunnings.com.au/johnson-tiles-400-x-400mm-olive-matt-sorrento-ceramic-floor-tile-9-pack_p...

Bushie, I blinked again and it's gone from our view. Take care.
