After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

or should I get someone in to do stamped concrete? It goes around the pool, (about 50 cm) the tiles were all loose and cracked and I removed them one day..................... the man was a bit annoyed, lol.

So, now I get to choose 🙂

Az, do you mean the stencil look?

The Princess had the driveway done in the house. It needs to be touched up about every 2yrs. I will have a look later and see if I have pictures on this puter.

Not sure about the ruling on what a franchisee can stock over and above the Carpet Court range of flooring.  But he is a business owner trying to make money, and appears to have faltered badly in stocking a seemingly unknown brand that he thought was going to make more money "on the side" than the vinyl recommended by Head Office of Carpet Court.

Sorry Az I can't put out any ideas for the pool surround.  I can't get a mental picture of what needs to be done.  I initially thought you meant tiles around the inner perimeter of the actual pool where the water laps against.

az - paving tiles get weeds popping up in the cracks where as stamped concrete wouldn't. I don't know much about stamped concrete, though I do like the look of it for that reason.

Az,  I just had my front path cemented.  Wanted the stamped bit.

Was quoted $95 - $100 per sq. metre for stamping and colouring

$80 psm without..      Had it done without the colouring and stamping.

edit:  that was for texture like bluestone blocks,  not stencilling

Good ideas, thank you all, there is already a concrete edge, comes out about 50cm from the 10cm blue fibreglass edge, it was tiled on top of this, looks kind of ugly with just concrete so only needs something to pretty it up. I will take a pic sometime soon, when I go out there, I forget the camera.... or get distracted............. or get in it, lol
