Drizzling rain atm Aps ๐ Just lit the fire to warm the house, thankfully we have plenty of wood, so I dont have to run the a/c as I'm not keen on a/c heating, I find it too stuffy

Freddie when you died what has happened? No hot water or is the unit leaking?
Twinks the plug thingo (valve) on the top of the unit has blown out and the water is leaking out onto the floor.
Pssst I didn't die *pinches self* nup ooouch

The pressure release valve? That can be easily replaced. Replaced one bere 2 months ago..... $109

No it's not the pressure release valve, it's like a plug right on the top of the HWS it's been expelled and the hot water is coming out of it.

I just spoke to the Pumbers and they said it means a new HWS $1,200 with GST they are coming today to have a look at it, I will ask about the solar HWS when they come.

Bushy, this is the HWS without the roof panels.

We are currently about $2,000 in advance with our power due to fortnightly payments in advance.

Thanks Freddie, I am assuming you would use approx the same amt of hot hot water as us, so will be interested in the price/savings
comparison.
I pay my electricity f/nightly as well but usually only break even or only a few $$ ahead
