After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I will have a chat to the HW people tomorrow and ask their advice I know them well so all should be OK.

We got a pretty good rebate on ours, only cost us $1000 and we saved that much in the first 12 months.

I'd still probably go for an intantaneous for just the 2 of you, especially when space is an issue. Not sure how much it would cost to change over, they are more expensive than storage but they save money in the long run by not constantly heating all the water in the tank.

Would you need to move the HWS to have solar? Sorry I dont know much about it Freddie. Do you have natural gas where you are?

No gas Bushy all electric and yes it would need to be out in the sun.

Bunnings have a good range and usually have someone versed in the pros and cons. Cost is more for installation and supply for solar but reduces electricity costs considerably.

Agree with punch on the instandanience unit. Small and compact. Mum had solar HW 30 years ago. 2 panels did her nicely. 

Freddie when you died what has happened? No hot water or is the unit leaking?

Dull grey sky outside and quite cool, what has happened to "summer" ?

PD I showed Mr B that website last night, we both love lillums so will def be placing an order for winter. 

Freddie I will be interested to know the cost of solar conversion, I know the rebates vary from state to state. 

Not sure what today will bring, there is heaps to be done outside atm, so hopefully it wont be raining

Off to my regular doctor today. My ear was popping during the night and very painful so suspect an abscess 😞 Doctor on Sunday didn't bother looking grrrrr 6 days is long enough without improvement.
