My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

This photo is my great grandfather before he left England, he is the one holding the cat. I guess the lily fetish ran in the family. Photo is very early 1900's

Our HWS has just died why didn't this happen before we bought?

It's 25yrs old so I guess it's use by date was up Woman Sad

Now we need to decide if we will buy a solar HWS and move it into the courtyard or stay with the same HWS in the laundry at the back of the garage.

I changed to solar a few years ago and its saved us a fortune but we are on LPG. Have you considered just changing to an instantaneous?

Haven't thought about it at all Punchy, when we bought we knew it wouldn't be long before we would need a new system of some sought.

I'm not up with HWS, solar and the like, there's only the 2 of us I wonder if it's worth the extra for a solar system?

Darn freddie, Mr B and I were talking about solar hot water recently, I dont want it, for just the 2 of us I cant justify the cost plus I dont want those "things" up on my roof, I don't like the look of them. I miss my gas hot water service, the one here is electric as there is no natural gas here.

Bushy the 2 elderly ladies in the other 2 units here both have solar HWS but no panels on the roof. I wonder what the go is with that??

If we moved the HWS out into the courtyard that would muck up my plans out there, as it is now the laundry is part of the back part of the garage.

I could be wrong then freddie, maybe they are only used for when a house has total solar. I see them on the roofs around here, each to their own but I dont like the look of them. Maybe check out costs, for us it wouldnt be worth the change over just for hot water.
