My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

I say that all the time. It is very true.

Plus I radiate heat in winter.

Just brought in two baskets of washing, all sitting there ready to fold, how can 2 people create so much washing?  What is everyones least fav job? I hate putting the washing on the line, bringing it and folding it,  dunno why, just hate doing it.

DUSTING I absolutely hate dusting, anything else in the home fine but I hate hate hate dusting.

There's a show on the ABC at the moment about homes in Paddington Sydney, they keep showing all the old heritage terrace homes. When we were in Sydney for our treatment and Hospital visits we stayed in the terrace houses owned by the Sister's of Charity and St Vincent's Hospital which were located just behind the Hospital in Paddington. I even stayed with the nuns in their terrace house right beside the Hospital for the 2 weeks Mr F was in Hospital I had my own double bedroom with balcony. Talk about spoilt Woman Very Happy

I bought some cherry vitamin tablets in the last year.. they are made from tart cherries (from US). They are supposed to be a cure all for sleep problems, stress and numerous other things. I bought 2 different brands, the second one was made from cherry skins.

I am not that good at remembering to take tablets and only tried the two bottles and didn't take them regularly so can't comment on their effectiveness. Actually the first bottle was so expensive I went halves with my sister to try them out.

I love, love fresh cherries, they have been quite plentiful this year and not so highly priced, so have had a heap of them (from a man at the market who comes from Orange).

Are the tinned cherries from the US, are they tart ones?

Bushie

That makes two of us. Hanging up washing and taking it off the rack afterwards. I dry all my stuff in the laundry on a rack. Being one person, I don't create much.

Everything else I am fine with.

I googled to try and find Aussie canned cherries but nup none to be found. The ones he got were just the Woolworths select brand and they are sweet pitted, I think they are USA produced and packed. I believe they had a good crop around Young/Orange this year.

Maybe that extra warm weather in early Dec set them off nicely. Same maybe for the raspberries and apricots, they aren't as expensive as usual either and plenty around.

I don't know if you could eat tart cherries by themselves. Maybe the Americans make them into pies with lots of sugar... will have to ask some of the US posters here.

I bought some frozen cherries from Woollies the other day. Frozen suited the recipe I was trying so I just grabbed them.  They were very nice - 100% pitted cherries - and perfect for what I wanted.......but I noticed later that they were from Chile.

I hate putting the groceries away and I also hate dusting.  I keep everything else up to date - even the ironing as I iron as I wash and there is usually only a couple of things for the 2 of us.  I never let it build up because it could be different then.

Frank does the vaccuuming.  A doctor told him he had to when we were first married because of the asthma and he has done it 99% of the time ever since.  He also does the dishes most nights.  Actually, now he has retired he helps out a lot.  Wonder if he fancies dusting Smiley Wink.

Off to bed now - it's "Milla" day tomorrow so an early rise.  Goodnight all ...
