My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

The shoes look lovely amber - as long as they are not on MY feet! (they hurt just thinking about it LOL!)

Only ONE year Bushie? You have accomplished so much! 

Punch, have you changed your washing powder / softener lately? The fact that you are reacting around pressure sites could mean an allergy there.... I get hives from contact with certain plants and the itch is just unbelievable!

Back north again now - there is still sooo much to do down south but we have made a little dent in the renos at least - OH stayed there to get some more painting done,  be there for another quote for the carpeting... and mow lawns! 

We cancelled two of the quoters - one for carpeting that got all miffy when we couldn't give them the time they wanted as we had another quoter coming at that time ("What? you are getting quotes from other carpet places!" - but time slot was one for cleaning the blinds!) and a blind cleaning firm who would only quote the cleaning costs not the repairs over the phone - and then wanted to pick them up in an hour! Ummmm noooo we want to know ALL the costs thanks!

The time here has gone so quickly B3, we love our quirky little run down cottage,at times it's a been of a challenge but we are also the happiest we have ever been.

It's not that easy to get good customer service these days B3, thought I must admit that we havent had too many probs. It was funny when we rang Mitre 10 to order more timber for the steps to be delivered, we offered the sales person our cc number and we told that we have been there so often they completely trust us and to just pay for it the next time we are in there. I thought that was so nice.

How long before you are wanting to put your house on the market or is there no time limit?

Very warm here today so not much outside work was done, will what tomorrow brings, for now I have a plank to use get down off the verandah or I can just jump ...... NOT lol

Bushie, I took the initiative - OH was supposed to get it on the market before Christmas... then after Christmas... then???

So I rang them today - they are coming around on Friday to sign all the paperwork.

Think if I had waited for OH it might have got onto the market sometime in winter... maybe!!

Yeah B3, some times we women have to do that, if we want things to get done. Hopefully if will sell quickly for you,so you can make your big move down south. The we can compare reno stories lol

It's lovely an cool this evening,one thing I do like about living so southis the twilight,it great to be able to sit outside on the verandah,have a coffee and chat.

Forecast for tomorrow is hot, ome am guessing it will be an a/c and house work day here.

Not much on TV atm unless one is a tennis or cricket fan 😞
