My day

Almost afternoon here, but I have been a busy bee again..

I didnt venture into the veggie patch for about a week, and when I did this morning I found the climbing beans had produced - but a few beans where already past eating stage. Funny thing is, I planted some bought seeds, and then a couple of saved seeds at the end of the trellis (found them when looking for somethign else Smiley Embarassed ) and THOSE are the ones in full production mode!

Somehow I don't think I will get the bumper crop I did last year though. Far less flowers, at least at this stage.

I have self sown basil literlally everywhere in that garden ( 2 different types too) and thought the flower heads on them might attract more bees... fingers crossed.

I think everyone is missing that monkey!

My day

Morning all.  Windy, showery and cool here this morning.  Going to be an inside day by the looks of it.

Not all that productive with the sandpaper and shellac/paint yesterday.  Spoke to DD for nearly 3 hours, catching up with the "goss" from her neck of the woods.  She reported too, of an hilarious Australia Day "Iron Man" comp at the local watering hole, that included ironing boards, Weetbix, Vegemite and a drink.

Then had to have a nana nap which included a couple of hours reading.  And the day was nearly gone.

Evening TV shows are not all that good for my preferences, so just watched the old Pie in the Sky, Morse, (there is just something about English Cop shows that I like over the more graphic US ones) .....whilst reading the local rag, and sundry papers.

Probably be back in later to hear all your goss.

My day

I'm back from another exercise session - I should be back in shape by the year 2031. I have an appointment with the shrink this afternoon, then, I'll be doing some housework. Been feeling  a bit tired and quiet which has kept me from posting all that much lately.

Freddie, we miss you.Heart

My day

OK I will tell.

Today I am clearing out my treasured spare room ready for son and partner to move in. They are trying to save for a home deposit, and paying rent depletes their income. Now to find new places for my sewing, photo collection and spillover books and grandkids toys and books. S'pose I will survive.

My day

Hey everyone .... Smiley Wink ..... Heart

A rather long day here too as I rush through the gauntlet ... Smiley LOL .... the kitchen is finished;  new floor and walls painted (again ... sigh!!) and now I have to do lots of work to get organised for what's happening towards the end of the year, if I don't keep going it won't be ready!

I miss seeing Bushie's garden and house renovations also;   can't wait for more pictures.

You have your work cut out for you Katy, but you'll find places for everything.  It's amazing that once you move stuff around, there is always an area somewhere that was 'hiding' to put it all again ... Smiley LOL

Take care all xxx

Katy, I sincerely hope your "sacrifice" will be matched by their own "sacrifices".

Are there children as well?

Their assistance around the house may be beneficial to you and your hubby.  How is he, by the way?
