After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Morning all.
Very little rain here, although it seemed to be all around. ๐ Lot of lightning and a bit of a rumble last night, but it was a paper tiger of a storm.
Would be nice if some came back to the thread.
My day to visit mum. I have made her a nice salmon salad for her tea. I must remember to buy a couple of tins to put in her fridge.

Good afternoon, beautiful day here, just had a swim after doing some little outdoor jobs using a concrete chisel and hammer....... a short brick wall that needed making narrower and was told it couldn't be done easily or cheaply and was better left. ๐ (smug smile)
One little paint job to be done tomorrow now but expecting family for dinner.

"I judge it by the picnic ground ... That has been underwater enough at times to take a boat out in the carpark"
Now that would be a sight to behold Amber .. picnic ground flooded like that, does it happen often?
We had fresh Tasmanian salmon for dinner last night ... no lemon (used orange juice) and picked a little sprig of rosemary from the garden adding peppercorns.
4 minutes in the microwave and it was just perfect. Nice fresh salad and a small potato each.

Stawka I have a younger brother. He built a house next door to Mum, and he is her main carer as I live a half hour away. She has a DIL and two grown grand daughters living next door too. So she has a lot of company. We lost Dad almost 4 years ago now.
