BC you obviously needed a good long rest, I was so very happy to see your cat had returned safe and well, if a little hungry and tired. What type of bulbs are you thinking of planting?, there are some lovely ones around these days.
Knowing you Tas, everything would have been very organised, I can see you all sitting around relaxing and enjoying yourselves. I can cook quite well but I really font like it, so your friend is welcome here anytime ๐
I have a friend who is a Reiki 3, so after my massage she always does some Reiki as well. We are removing a large brick circular garden from the b/yard and building one in the front yard around the birdbath. The bricks have been there forever, so each one had to dug out by hand, took a while but its done now. There were some 1/2 bricks that had been used as will to make a pattern, so they will be all go into the taller water tank veggie garden as fill.

One is always learning. Never heard of Reiki before today. Been reading up on it. Sounds interesting to me. And of course, if it helps relax and encourages a tempered lifestyle, I can see great benefit.
Now, someone asked about "mozzies in the brommies". Yes, there are a few about, but there is also a couple of small frogs living in that environment too. So I'll let the food cycle be happy without my own ingredient being part of it.
A few MIAs have ticked the attendance book, good to see you all around.

The last time that I had a massage was years ago. After my second hospitalisation, I used to attend an outreach center for those with mental health issue, and at least one day per year was set aside for th ewomen only [they also had "men only" days]. On those pamper days free haircuts, massages, manicures, lunch etc were on offer so I decided to have my first ever professional massage. I was so relaxed that I forgot all about my shoes and had to go back to retrieve them. lol. I have never had reiki done but have friends who swear by it.
I'll be planting those bulbs that arrived ages ago - old fashioned freesias, bluebells and various irises. I think that was all. Its been so long that I don't remember exactly what I have. lol.The geranium cuttings come from across the road and will be a lovely reminder of the woman who once lived there. Her and her husband were among the first to build here. Back in those days, permits and regulations were not needed so neighbours helped each other to build their houses. The woman, who died last year, was a published poet and her late husband was a landscape artist who retained the front half of their property as a bush block while planting fruit trees and flowers in the back yard. The new owners subdivided, cleared the bush block, sold up and moved interstate. Such a sad disregard for history, but, then again, we do live in an era in which the almighty dollar rules. So, I am hoping that the cuttings take and that I end up with a display of pink flowers in the very near future.
I wish that Freddie would come back to us.

I think I'm going to do a lot of reading about Reiki. I had heard of it somewhere along the line but hadn't taken much notice, so it will be interesting.
The bulbs will be beautiful when they flower Bluecat, hope you will take some pictures if you can please?
It certainly has been an incredible three days Bushie, and I was ready for one visitor but not three. However, it all came together very nicely because they organised themselves very quickly and everybody pitched in, it was wonderful.
The highlight was indeed the rice pudding! A European specialty it was!! Fresh cherries and almonds were involved as was cherry brandy, yes, a pink rice pudding .... ...
.... and she carried it into the dining room as though it was made of priceless crystal, what a treat!
I have to keep going, lots of linen to fold up and put away.
(((((( hugs )))))) to all the My Dayers (and Freddie Rooster also if you are watching over the thread) .....

Looks like its going to be a stunning day here, so more wood sawing, seed planting and general tidying up with be happening in the Bushie household, might just sneek in a bbq lunch as well, way to nice to spend the days indoors.

GRRR, Neighbours were having a party last night that didn't end until around 4am. The noise stopped me from sleeping so, unfortunately, today will be another wasted day. Looks like a nanna nap will be in order for this afternoon.
It was a lovely sunny morning but its now overcaste. Enjoy your day, Bushie, and if you run out of things to do, you can always come over here and plant my bulbs, and, mop the floors, and, clean the bathroom, and other stuff.
I extend that offer to everyone else here.
