After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Afternoon everyone xxxx
So much more in the way of extra vegies (most in foam boxes) planted now, potted mint, kale, snow peas, tomatoes (found a fantastic portable walk in hothouse to put together) and even a found a succulent to put into a fractured bird bath which was too badly split in places to repair. We'll get a new one shortly as we really do want to attract the birds.
Still haven't been able to get the butternut pumpkin or cucumber seedlings yet, a bit early they tell us.
We collapsed into an early night last night, but what a lovely time we had getting the garden sorted out finally.
Today the hose reels arrived, so we'll put them up tonight, one each end of the house. It was becoming far too dramatic fighting those beastly python type hoses as they kinked and buckled like crazy snakes; the reels will fix it once and for all. In the end, we were having to fill up oodles of watering buckets which sometimes led to much fooling around as we raced each other to get to the middle first .... ... Mr. Tasfleur always wins though, he has longer legs than I do ....
Hope everyone is enjoying the Spring weather as much as we are ....

Wow Tas, you are really powering now .... fresh salads n veggies coming up soon in the Tas household
You can grow your cues and pumkins from seed, its really easy to do

I'm happy I managed to get my seedlings all planted on Saturday afternoon - we ended up with 5 tomato plants (OH simply had no idea I only ever had 2 going at a time and bought up big *sigh* ) a whole bunch of lettuce, snow peas, corn and spring onions.
I have seeds for beans, beetroot, carrots, cucumber and from the OH's buying spree - zucchini - I'm only putting in 2 seeds of that as I am the only one in the family to eat them!
All surviving so far
I want to post a pic but I'll have to do it later as I need to transfer it from my phone...

What is the "growing mixture" in your spud patch, Bushie?
It's good to hear of agricultural spring happenings around this country. You're all putting me to shame, (I'm in the horticultural doldrums.)

Morning DEB .... I use a good quality top soil n aged sheep poop ... the tanks are filled and left for a few weeks before I plant anything in them .... In a week or so the "spud patch" will get a layer of straw spread across it, as will the other veggie gardens
