My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

My day: packing for London. Am taking three kilos in an onboard bag and that is me all packed ๐Ÿ™‚

Found out I was going...today! Had one hour to think about it.

Won't be taking any high heels, pretty things, or anything gurly...woooohooooo! Happy dance

Spoiler
Of course that means I could, in theory, buy a suitcase and stuff to fill it with, for the flight home, but I won't. Maybe.

Amber - as Lurker says :

All you need is a Credit Card & Lipstick.

Packed.

Thanks Joono...it's work. I could have said no, but be hard to do the work from here, and it's a bit of an adventure, just very sudden. Have a flight but NO accomodation. It's Rugby World Cup and London is booked solid. So it'll be the dosshouse or The Dorchester. There's nothing inbetween!

I get there on my birthday so it is like a pretty cool present ๐Ÿ™‚

If they don't find me anything I'll be a bit put out... Maybe I needed to pack a credit card, a lipstick, and a tent (and Helen's curly thing :heart )

It sounds to me like they need to book you a suite at the Dorchester and throw in a high tea ๐Ÿ˜„

Go Amber.

Nothing to loose - everything to gain.

Have a ball - keep the eyelass curler safe - I am sure it will come in handy - if not for looks - but defense.

My day

Naked!  I tell yer, naked.  Stark, bare, naked, and cold.

The massive hail storm we had the other day stripped my Jelly Bean and Donkey's tail hanging plants!  Stripped opening blossoms on the neighbours peach trees.  Crushed newly opened bulbs.  Pitted the large-leafed Peace Lillies

The deepest grey clouds formed off the East and took 6 hours to funnel and churn and turn green and travel to our suburb. The massive winds came first, then rain, then hail... hail.....hail.  Marbles of ice carpeted the streets,  covered the flat roofs, choked and then broke some gutters, the weight caved some of the carports onto vehicles.

I couldn't open the back screen-door due to the amount and weight of ice "dampening" my Welcome Mat.  A little winter wonderland of white looked quite pretty.  But the damage to the new leafed plants was profound.

Well, that was the week that was.  And it was the anniversary of dear Freddie starting 'My Day'
