After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Both a happy and sad time for you Freddie ....

There are some lovely gardens in Melb, I live there many yrs ago Debra, don't think I could live there now, too big and busy for me.

Last coat of paint goes on the walls this afternoon, off to buy the paint for the trim tomorrow  .... Then it's onto the lounge room, so will  buy the paint for there as well

My Day

The pleasure of my 7 yo grandaughter's company from 7am, we played a game of go fish because I really don't like playing chess that early, lol. Then to school drop off at 8am, on to my grandsons' home, 5 yo and 7 yo and take them to school for 9am drop off,  including a 15 min visit with recuperating daughter.

Back to the mechanic to check my car, he says I need a new harmonic balance? something........ $398, so booked in for next Friday. Due for a service too, so another $120.

Off to Bunnings to get new window architraves as I don't like the colonial ones I put back up Woman Embarassed so another paint job for the 14 yo niece!

I also found a little hex head drill bit to replace the alan key, yay!

Lunch, now resting before I pick up the grandsons and deliver them home.

My day

It's October and the aircon has gone on:( Just for 20 minutes.  3 hot and tired children and 1 cross grandma needed a cool down.

We were traveling home and came across a tender dry paddock where someone foolishly had decided today was the day for a burn off. Tree stumps etc smoldering away on such dry land in the middle of no where is asking for trouble. CFA wont attend unless property is under threat or the burn off is out of control.

Friend who has a neibouring property with horses is now taking appropiate measures just in  case and hubby is sat in the ute watching for a flare up.
