Will give the link to my daughter.
Thank you, Erica
It's real good Erica. I have it installed here, purchased a net kit from that website about 2 years ago. The cats have a large area in the back yard and they are safe. I'm sure your daughter will be pleased. ๐

The cat net sounds like a cheap way to that would work.
I'd like to think the cat got rolled under a car rather than beaten by a person. Not that that's a help to the cat at the moment.
The cat cam would be great too. I posted a link here one time where the whole village put cameras on their cats, all were surprised what their cats were up to.....visiting other cats, going into other peoples houses. Explains why they sleep all day!
Saw this yesterday.....

My outdoor run was about $120 worth of materials, and 2 very lazy days' work. If I had got stuck in, probably could have completed it in 4 or 5 solid hours. Simple framework of surplus square steel tube from local disposals, medium duty garden mesh 50mm x 50mm.
Admittedly I do have equipment that not everyone has at their disposal, cut off saw, grinders, welders, but if you know someone who does have these, it's not a mammoth task. Decided later to cover it in shade cloth, ($50 worth) with a small section left uncovered for full sun, should they desire. A tunnel walkway made from the same mesh gives them a protected path from the house to the run.
5.5 x 2 metres, and just over a metre high, they all seem happy enough spending time in there, or inside as they choose. 2 big litter trays in there, which they use most of the time. At least one prefers to dig in the natural ground though.

Oh yeah, and GRRR to either the cat basher or possible other means of injury.

That catnet's a great idea UFO. Bit pricey, but had I known about it before, I would have bought the netting only kit for sure.

It's not that bad carls*world. I think we purchased a roll for about $200 or $250 but we enclosed a big area. I can't remember the price exactly but it is well worth it. The quality of the netting is real good. It is cat proof. Your cats wont get out and the strays can't get in.

My three cats have always been indoor kitties. I spent $1300 on two huge cat enclosures linked together by a tunnel. It was worth every cent.
Indoor cats do fine. I provide lots of toys and cat perches next to windows where they can look outside at the birds and wildlife.
PS I can't even comment on what happened. It hurts too much. I'm so sorry ๐

My sister got her husband to put up 4 poles and then cat mesh around them and attached to the wall of the house.
Then a roof out of cat mesh and buried so the cat can't lift it to get out.
Then her hubby put in a lockable cat door in the wall so the cat just walks from the house to the outdoors so easily.
My BIL can climb out a window to clean out the cat enclosure if needed because he enclosed one of the windows.
The cat still uses the indoor litter tray , her food and water bowls are in the kitchen so nothing much changed
As it was my BIL doing the work it would have to have been dirt cheap LOL.
They have put in things for the cat to walk around on up high and a ladder type of thing going around.
