I have been with my OH since 1988. He retired last October since then his sister has been trying to talk him into going home to live. He has been in Australia since 1971. He doesn't want to go home to live. His sister wants him to buy a unit at home for her to live in Oh boy the emotion blackmail she has been applying is unbeliveable. I am so angry as the unit she wants him to buy her will take all his super and in buy it it will effect his pension. She still wants him to buy it for her.
He is now saying that it means he will have to go back to work again.

Why does his sister think he should spend money buying a property for her (which he or you will have no use for eventually)? He is not single, she shouldn't expect a great whack of his money to be spent on her.

While his parents were alive Croatia was a communist country and he would send them money each 3 months to mark sure they had enough for food. His sister still thinks that she should get what the parents did. The word that comes to mind is selfish bi***h

In all honesty he needs to put in place some clear boundaries to enable her to be responsible for her own life. From the little I understand about Croatia its a very poor country and I am not saying he shouldn't help her but I do think there needs to be a line drawn in the sand.
Def not fair on you 😞
