All would be negative geared,(the other piece of carp that the government bought in that has allowed "rich"

"investors" to claim tens of billion of dollars in tax).

With over 50% of that figure going to the ones that are considered rich to start with.

Which cost the average wage earner $310 in tax each in 2013/14

It was to "boost" the economy and make it easier for lower income earnings to get into property investment and

have more places available for rental.

All it's done is raise the prices of the houses so that lower income earners can't afford them and they have to

rent,(which has forced up the rentals where people are once again struggling to pay those high rents).

So as per usual it's a government plan for the rich to get richer and for government employees to take

full advantage of that as well.

It should have come in as income based so that the lower earning public could actually get into housing

and it would've brought billions of dollars into the tax office that is currently given to the high earning

investors,(IMHO it's another rip off of the "public purse" ).

'n dont forget the pollies get $271 a night allowance when they are Canberra, even if they stay in their own accommodation   ..... Nice little sum to go towards their mortgage.

Sounds like a good move David, very nice part of the world where you are   .....

its quite amazing the way payments were introduced to help politicians when living away from 'home' were turned into money making schemes by the pollies that were suposed to getting helped.

i wonder how long it took from the day these payments were introduced till some bright spark figured they could just pay it to themselves when staying in their own houses?
