I hope everyone is safe - how frightening our weather can be from one extreme to the other.

Those hail stones or should I say rocks remind me of Christmas in Victoria a few years ago.

All good here on the North Shore, thanks.

Poor ppl in Kurnell though. Bloke calling in to the radio said the wind was picking up ship containers like toys.

Houses having their whole roof blown off.  Fancy coming home to that.

Bondi Junction shopping centre roof collapsed under the hail.

Water running down the street like a river picking up cars and bikes

Sydney father Frank Partlic spent six months turning his four-bedroom Kurnell home into a $1.15 million property.

In just a few short moments on Wednesday, Sydney's worst ever storm in the form of a tornado ripped through his home and nearly completely destroyed the house he had just sold on Tuesday.

"The onus is on me because the contracts don't exchange for another six weeks ... so now I have to check my insurance and make sure that is up to date," Mr Partlic told Fairfax.

"Where do we get the money from? I have used up all my holidays to fix up the house to sell it."

In a promising sign, the son of the man who won the auction to Mr Partlic's home has initially indicated that the family wants to continue with the property purchase, according to Fairfax.
