in my Spotless book ..... it says to get blood out of a sheet (doesnt have carpet listed) to use a cake of soap in cold water and rub the soap into the stain back and forth .... then dab at it with wet cloth .... until the stain is gone ....
I use Sard Wonder soap for stuff like this ... and it works a treat .... I buy the stick form of it ...like a roll up deodorant ... and it always gets the stains out of clothes and linen ....
good luck ... and remember .... lots of compost on the body and it will decompose really quickly ๐

oh no, Don't encourage CM to use a stick form of anything. You should see what she did with the push up deodorants stick. *shudder* it wasn't pretty
