Need help getting rid of the evidence

Blood in carpet. I have lessened the stains using bi-carb. I now have brown stain instead of red, and the lighter amounts have gone.  Is there something really good that forensics haven't discovered yetWoman LOL

Re: Need help getting rid of the evidence

peela - sard wonder soap - I have used that with cold water only, to get all various  stains out of carpet.

esseco - Exit (yellow block)- I bought a small bar of that from target last week, haven't used it yet but it is supposed to be good.

Always use cold water.. warm/hot water can set the stain.

( I remember the stick deodorant.....)

Salt. smother it on whilst carpet is still damp, like a really, really thick layer. Leave it for a few days and vacuum away.

Plus it's natural, so any residue won't spark the interest of the Feds.

Re: Need help getting rid of the evidence

Do not use salt! Salt acts as a colour setter....hence the use of salt to stop colour running in the wash.

Soda water is the best bet but as you have already used bi carb this may not help.

Good luck....large pot plant?

Re: Need help getting rid of the evidence

I had alarm bells going off about the salt too, but couldn't think why.

Bicarb soda and white vinegar together, is good  on the carpet. It has a bubble effect when mixed. A professional carpet cleaner told me never to put water on carpet as it can leave water stains, use white vinegar instead.
