I thought there was something wrong when I saw all these old posts first up then I saw a new ID had spam replied to them all.

111 posts and counting. People????? life's too short to worry about id's on this little ebay forum.
The contortions & angst that my little post has brought about is making me feel sorry I posted it. It was just an oberservation, not anything major like a tsunami or another 9/11.
It's Christmas time people, go out & enjoy the hols.

Hi Poddy,
What I would like to know is; why has this throw away observation of mine caused so much response?? are we in imminent danger?? should we exit this forum en masse to save ourselves from a random id that had a mind frart & replied to a lot of old posts?.
Please tell us Pod, please save us.

A lot of the habitual posters are beyond redemption. Being stuck in the rut of minless cacophonic chit chat, they do not know how to cope with the occasional comic relief of that breaks the boredom of endless trivia.
Personally, I don't mind the departure from the norm of stale topics and find it amusing and refreshing to interact with the 0 feedback IDs that occasionally visit this venue.
It is my guess they may do that to break the cast habit before it sets into a solid mould of future behaviour.
Diversity and vibrancy are the ingredientsneeded so that posters in a close knit social society don't end up brain dead.
Alas, likeI I said there are some beyond salvation.
But that is only my opinion and it is doubless that there are those who will disagree. 🙂

Does all that mean it's ok to be flippant, poddy ?

flippancy is part and parcel of societal verbal intercourse 🙂

Indeed
It's one of my favourite parts
I've no objection to older posts, either

Thank you pod, for easing my mind about 0 ID’s being part of the social verbiage (sic), as I myself, happen to be one, and one who is very fond of verbiage and all other kinds of social intercourse that goes with a good plate of greens.
So they’re harmless then? Nothing to be afraid of? intelligent and articulate?

Individual 0 ID's might be OK, but 1 person with a gazliion of ID's is a bit much isn't it? Specially when they bump their own threads under numerous ID names.

agree with am on this, if you go forward to page 2 I think, you will find a whole lot of threads with 0ID's on them, they are just trolls and they show them selves up to be that, all you have to do is read their threads.
But people like you silverfaun who have been around for awhile, we know you are who you say
thanks purple, I'm sure am3 didn't mean anything by it.
