Nigella Lawson - Gross Invasion of Privacy

Do you think these pictures of Nigella Lawson should have been published?

I see it as a gross invasion of privacy, and i'm stunned that the photographer felt it more appropriate to take pictures, than to ask her if she was ok.

No smiles on her face in those photos.

I thought they were maybe discussing cosmetic surgery.  It does look bad though and she does look upset but you never can tell with paparazzi photos.  They might take sixty photos and then only use the one that shows a celeb at their worst.

no i don't think those pics should have been taken let alone published.

they were having dinner, not working.

having said that though, if he really was abusing her as those pics seem to show then he is a pig, and if he will do that in public what the hell does he do to her behind closed doors?

"witnesses" say MANY things.

They may have been arguing it's true.  He may have been demonstrating why she doesn't need a facelift and nose job and they were arguing about it.

Honestly, that's not how you strangle someone anyway.  You need to get your body weight behind your arms.  He's old, I don't imagine it was serious.

No one intervened....if he was choking her in public - people would intervene.  I guess that's my biggest disbelief about it....that no one intervened if he really was doing that.

I think the headline --.. choked by husband in restaurant .. isn't very accurate

She wasn't choked if she could get up and walk away?

Choking is usually when you have food/foreign object stuck inside your throat?

Strangling is done from outside the throat

Apparently there has been a photo of them published before in public where he had his hand over her mouth.

If he is an abusive husband then it's probably good these photos are out there, if it's true then maybe it will give Nigela the courage to leave him? So many abused women struggle to have people believe them.

The final photos where she appears alone and upset and the comments of the witnesses make me tend to believe it wasn't an innocent incident.
