We moved OHs parents into a nursing home today. She doesn't really want to go but recognises it's necessary, but he is very angry and is not hesitant about telling anyone and everyone he doesn't want or need to be there.
Stress levels are through the roof! Wine is helping

No. #2 is still single. The LPs will be here for Christmas and we'll have the in laws here as well for the day. 4 generations - hopefully it will all go well
Thats if I can ever get myself organised enough to get everything done. I seem to be in a perpetual state of procrastination lately.

4 generations...sounds pretty awesome.
A lot of work- what is this state of 'organised enough to get everything done'? Are you supposed to be superwoman?

and so the saga of my life continues ..........
I managed to get the carpet cleaner to come this morning to clean up the mess I made with the pot of butter chicken. It doesn't look quite so much like a massacre site now........
The new toilet in the ensuite has developed a leak (teehee) and will be out of action for the next 24 hours ........
BiL is being a pain in the whatsit and phoning (it seems like) every 5 minutes with more questions about the nursing home .........
BUT I did manage to get the Christmas cards posted this morning - they'll probably do for next year now, as they will all arrive sooo late LOL

Yeah, I was carrying a big dish of it out to the table on the balcony and it slipped out of my hands and splattered all over the carpet. There was much sadness
Then someone had to go out to get Chinese takeaway.
