The ALP realise they can't win with Mr Rudd so now they're trying to win by character assassination of Mr Abbott!

What character assination? Think he does a good job all on his own.

I really should proof read. Assassination.

Oh come on LL that was entirely different. Don't know how but it was.

anyone who has been watching abbott for any length of time would know that there isn't any character to assassinate. he does a fine job all on his lonesome. rudds job is to highlight his many (legion) shortcomings.

actually, my OH (Lib voter) said the same about Ms Gillard, that the Libs had to get her out because they knew they couldn't win against her.
Obviously her own party got her out because they knew they couldn't win with her lol

IF: "The ALP realise they can't win with Mr Rudd so now they're trying to win by character assassination of Mr Abbott!"
There is nothing unusual about that IF (from either side), as I said to LL it's "the singer not the song" which synchronises well with a "shoot the messenger" philosophy.
Listening to Cassidy ( from Insiders) summing up the political week (I agreed) he said the "debate" was not one/pathetic, and after that it was a week of political trivia.
A little like the Myopics/Cyclopians here. Is there a hint of desperation in the bleats from one of the flocks?
