The ALP realise they can't win with Mr Rudd so now they're trying to win by character assassination of Mr Abbott!

A bit of satire to brighten up the day.

actually, my OH (Lib voter) said the same about Ms Gillard, that the Libs had to get her out because they knew they couldn't win against her.
Obviously her own party got her out because they knew they couldn't win with her lol
Murdoch's paid assassin's ruined Gillards chances of succeeding, she was far too smart, they had to get rid of her no matter what.

So you are saying without any first hand knowledge that Tony Abbott has no character, I would suggest that you look in your own mirror and try to find yours as I suggest from your ongoing slaughter of TA you don't have any.
Obviously this is what KR has decided to attempt, if you can't win on your own merits then just slander the other person which is what he said he would not do.

Aren't you overlooking one small but rather insignificent point though. Whether LL has any 'character' or not is immaterial to the argument - unlike Abbott (or Rudd) he isn't standing for parliament and asking people to vote for him.

If he does, I'll hand out the leaflets. (I've had experience - The Australia Party - back in the 1970s - it seemed like the only alternative then.)

Playing footage of what TA said or accurately quoting him cannot be considered "character assassination", because it is a fact.
